Withdraw a bid

Withdrawing a bid in the Byzantine Finance auction is a straightforward process that allows you to reclaim your funds if you decide not to participate anymore. By withdrawing, an operator will be refunded his bid price and his bond (if has paid one).

Step-by-Step Guide

To withdraw an existing bid, follow these steps:

1. Access Your Bids Menu

   • Navigate to the "Your Bids" menu where you will see a list of all your current bids. Each line represents a bid you have placed.

2. Select the Bid to Withdraw

   • Click on one of the lines representing the bid you wish to withdraw. This will bring up a menu with several options.

   
3. Choose "Withdraw Bid" Option

   • From the menu, select the "Withdraw Bid" option. You will be prompted to sign the transaction in your connected wallet immediately.

4. Confirm the Transaction

   • Confirm the transaction in your wallet. Once the transaction is processed, you will receive your ETH back (the bid price + the bond).

5. Refresh the Page

   • Note: It currently takes a few seconds for the withdrawn bid to disappear from the list. Please wait a bit and refresh the page if needed.

Tips for Withdrawing Bids

• Strategic Withdrawals: Withdraw bids that are not competitive or if you need to reclaim your ETH for other uses.

• Immediate Refunds: Upon withdrawing a bid, your ETH is refunded immediately after confirming the transaction.

• Refresh the Page: Wait a few seconds and refresh the page to ensure the withdrawn bid is removed from the list.
