DV Nodes synchronization

Woohoo! You've Won an Auction!

Congratulations on winning an auction! Now that you've won, the first part is complete, and you are officially part of a cluster! However, the cluster's nodes are not synchronized each other. To do so, follow the steps of this section

What Happens When You Win the Auction

  • A cluster is created with the 4 winning operators. This cluster is accessible through the interface where you will handle all interactions (we will discuss the interface in detail later).

  • A private Discord channel is created with all the operators, ensuring the synchronization process is smooth, friendly, and efficient.

The Byzantine Interface

General Interface Overview

On the Byzantine Operator Portal, under the dashboard tab on the left, you will find all the clusters you are part of. Each line represents a cluster and provides some information such as the cluster name, the number of validators, the period you subscribed for, and the number of operators (currently, clusters consist of 4 operators, but this will increase in the future).

Additionally, you will find:

  • Global stats about your account at the top.

  • The ability to view all clusters by clicking on the toggle switch "mine/global".

  • A refresh button to update the data.

Each line represents a cluster, and you can click on any of these lines to view detailed information about the cluster.

Detailed Cluster View

This is the detailed view of a cluster, which you can access from the general interface or directly via the URL with the correct configHash (screen 2). This page includes several elements:

  • General stats about the cluster.

  • The cluster name and creation date.

  • A list of operators with their statuses indicating if an action is required (in orange) and their reputation scores.

  • If you are connected with the wallet of one of these operators and have actions to perform, you will see a large orange-bordered block. This block tells you exactly what needs to be done. In most cases, follow the instructions in this block and click the button to perform the required action.

  • The list of validators.

  • The option to exit the cluster (not currently available but will be in the future).

This interface is designed to guide you through the process of synchronizing your cluster and managing your participation effectively.

Now, let's look at the specific actions you need to take to synchronize the cluster.
